Part 2 chronicles River’s motion pictures, A NIGHT IN THE LIFE OF JIMMY REARDON, LITTLE NIKITA, RUNNING ON EMPTY, INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE, I LOVE YOU TO DEATH & DOGFIGHT. It also documents River’s Academy Award nomination, his move to Gainesville and the birth of ALEKA’S ATTIC, River’s environmental efforts and much more……

*NOTE* “This film has been created to chronicle the life and legacy of River Phoenix. It is a non-profit, home-made project; over 12 months in the making; which was intended to be a work just for myself. But I have been encouraged to share the film by fans and friends. It is my sincere hope and ambition that one day I will be eventually able to make another Documentary about River and delve deeper and interview those who knew and respected him. To further highlight River’s remarkable life which this film, is the beginning of. Unfortunately, the video quality is not that of the actual film which is mostly High Definition. YouTube won’t accept the size of the HD Version. Also, certain edits have been made for this YouTube Version due to possible copyright issues; particularly the STAND BY ME section; nonetheless; here it is and I hope you enjoy the work and encourage you to download the film as it is uploaded,

PART ONE chronicles River’s early years, TV appearances, rise to prominence in the feature films EXPLORERS, STAND BY ME and THE MOSQUITO COAST and much more.

Hello everyone,
RIVER PHOENIX WAS HERE is currently in the final stage of post-production and will be uploaded @ YouTube in 4 Parts at the end of May 2013. The actual release dates for each Part will be posted here soon. I will be uploading each Part, one week apart, to hopefully avoid the film being watched out of sequence as it is imperative that the film be watched in order in it’s finished form.

The response to my Official Trailer for the Documentary has been overwhelming and I would like to thank each and everyone of you for sharing the trailer on your River Phoenix pages and giving it the exposure so people know it exists and is forthcoming.
This film, has taken me a year to complete and as I have said previously, this work was a project that I intended to create for myself, however I was encouraged by many to share this film which is a
non-profit work.
I am making no money from producing the film, nor ever intended to.
